NY government to make all handicapped permits equally valid
Currently, any New York City resident who has a handicapped parking permit can use that permit in designated spaces in any state and in Canada. But a parking permit issued by any other county or state is not valid in New York City. In an attempt to fix this imbalance, one local senator has announced that a bill on the permits has passed in the New York State Senate.
